Melbourne Trip

So just recently September 29th to October 2nd the Wheeler family was able to visit Melbourne. Dad had a partners meeting for work and so Mom, Rachel, Victor, and I decided to tag along. I must say Melbourne is an awesome place the markets and all other shopping is especially good! We got to stay in a really nice hotel called the Mansion Hotel and Spa. The hotel was originally a seminary founded by monks and has two parts to it, the actual hotel and the old fashion mansion that you can walk around and  was owned after the seminary by a family, which you can see all the rooms with mostly all the original furniture which is cool. We also got to go to the Queen Victoria markets and that was amazing you wouldn't believe how many things were being sold there! Another awesome thing that we kids got to do was be zookeepers for a day Rachel and Victor were at the Melbourne zoo and I was at Weribee Park Open Range Zoo which was pretty cool. Now here are some pictures from our little adventure.

Some delicious carrot cake at a cute cafe in Serrento.

Moms favorite section of the markets,
the deli.
A beautiful shot taken by mom of a rose in a rose
garden right by the mansion.

  1. Sounds like a wonderful time in Melbourne. That is one of the places were got to visit when we were in Australia. We visited a Wild life preserve, not sure if it was the same one as you visited though.
